Job Description

Leidos Innovations Defense amp; Intelligence are hiring Software Engineers/Developers to deliver the next generation of Geospatial Intelligence technologies for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). The effort will harness GOTS, COTS and FOSS technologies to deliver advanced exploitation services to NGA. The team will build and deliver new and innovative approaches to implement Geospatial Intelligence exploitation and production using web and cloud technologies. This requisition is looking for a software engineer to join the eXploitation Services Agile Development team. They will participate in 2 week sprints during which they will collaborate with the customer and team to define, build and test exploitation and enterprise services. They will be expected to be strong contributors to the scrum team, participating in daily scrums, and being proactive to work tasks and resolve obstacles. In addition to service development and delivery, they will provide support to DRs detected by testers or in operations. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience in Modern Software Architecture: Javascript, Node.JS, J2EE, -Self-motivated to learn new skills for solving challenging engineering, scientific, and information technology challenges -Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) completed or to be completed within 12 months -Position requires US Citizenship per contract
