Job Description

The Defense and Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Network Operations and Administration Site Lead at Hill AFB, Ogden, UT.
POSITION SUMMARY:The Site Lead will support the DISA customer as part of the Global Systems Management Operations (GSM-O) program. The Site Lead will report to the Senior Program Manager of the Operations Task Order. This position is located at Hill AFB, Ogden, UT primarily but may require travel to other GSM-O sites when necessary. Expected travel is lt;10%.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Lead a team of 50+ employees who provide network administration, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of DISA’s Defense Information Systems Network (DISN).•Perform management level duties to include representing the team and contract actions required for the site, presenting to the customer on operations-related activities, engaging with the contractor employees, and reporting to senior leadership as required. •Engage with all management and technical teams on the program as required to ensure tasks are completed on time within the environment.•Authorized to act on site-specific matters relating to daily operations and act as the first-line supervisor for site employees.•Responsible for part of a project or multiple projects and track and report status accordingly.•Work with the operational leads on many task orders to provide status and/or situational awareness depending on the situation.•Identify and support the development of solutions to improve site operations, network operations, or contract operations as it relates to the task order requirements.•Communicate technical and non-technical information contractors, government staff, and senior leaders.•Assist with documentation as required to support engineering change proposals, process documentation, presentations, and reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.•Mature conflict resolution and relationship management skills.•Ability to make decisions and escalate when needed Strong briefing skills.•Prior leadership experience.•Complex problem solving skills.•Strict adherence to Leidos ethical standards.•Strong written and verbal communications, team building and collaboration skills.•Currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Knowledge of networking and administration of large scale networks•Excellent communication and presentation skills•Knowledge of DISA or prior experience with DISA•Experience working with demanding high ranking customers and staff.
