Leidos has a career opportunity for a Joint Task Force amp; Air Expeditionary Force Executive Director at Shaw AFB. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI security clearance. Description: The successful applicant will lead a team of operational and technical military planning experts plan, program and train personnel designated for Headquarters Joint Task Force (JTF) and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) forward deployments and exercise events. Applicants will provide operational, tactical, and doctrinal advice to Component Numbered Air Force (C-NAF) and Ground Component Commanders; help develop JTF composition, deployment preparation and Joint maneuver / combat operations strategies; oversee multi-faceted combat operations, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Logistics and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, amp; Interoperability -related curriculum development and instruction; and help manage personnel readiness requirements, unit deployment preparations and exercise events integral to JTF operations. Knowledge and experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) is essential. Applicants will routinely interact with Joint Force Active Duty, reserve and National Guard components to plan and program JTF / AEF-related resources and events. This position will require overseas travel into active military combat zones. Applicants must possess Combat Air Force aircraft aviator experience inclusive of Air Liaison Officer and/or Remotely Pilot Aircraft assignments (combat operations experience is preferred); operational unit command experience (preferably in combat); and served as a director or chief of staff at the C-NAF, Major Command or Joint Command level.
Qualifications: Minimum of 20 years’ experience in relevant Air Force combat aircraft and command and control specialties; minimum of 7 years’ experience in Joint Air-Ground operations; minimum of 3 years senior officer experience in the Joint environment; Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s of Science (preferably in Engineering), Masters of Science preferred), and possess a current TS/SCI.
