Job Description

Security Clearance: Secret Washington DC The successful applicant will provide valuable analytic support in regards to data analysis efforts to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to protect against acts of terrorism and will be a key member of CENTRA’s Homeland Security and Risk Analysis Division (HSRA). U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required Must possess excellent writing skills and be able to clearly convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and ability to work with and manage large data sets. Experienced in data visualization, extraction, cleansing, and analysis. Must be able to work well under tight deadlines and in a team environment. Experience with the following data analysis tools is desired: SQL Server, Access, R, SAS, ArcGIS. Knowledge or experience working with data relating to economic/financial analysis, military personnel, port facilities, waterborne commerce, mass transit agencies, and critical infrastructure/key resources, threats from terrorism, environmental hazards, or spatial analysis will be considered strength for this position CENTRA Technology, Inc. provides analytic services and systems engineering to US Government and commercial customers.
