Job Description

Security Clearance: None Washington DC / Arlington VA Area Courage Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of CENTRA Technology, Inc.) is seeking independent consultant Imagery Analysts to support our ongoing analysis programs. The specific analysis projects vary in duration from approximately one to three months on average, and they are approximately 40 hours/week (with possible weekend hours). The primary responsibilities of the positions are to conduct detailed urban studies using high-resolution commercial satellite imagery as well as handheld and aerial photography. The qualified Imagery Analyst will possess a background in infrastructure analysis, battle damage assessment (BDA), line of communication analysis, and/or experience supporting humanitarian efforts. Further, the positions require a strong understanding of high-resolution commercial satellite imagery capabilities and tasking strategies, and how they may be employed to best meet the information needs of a project. Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment. Currently, these positions are being filled with Independent Consultants; however, depending on the scale and duration of the projects, there is the potential for the positions to be converted to full-time employee positions over time Candidates must be proficient in the use of RemoteView Pro (or similarly capable electronic light table software) and the ability to create product outputs in ArcGIS shapefile format A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, or equivalent military experience in the Imagery Analyst occupation (successful completion of a military service imagery analysis training program or the National Geospatial-Intelligence College’s GITP or legacy imagery analysis training program) None.
