As a leading provider of innovative technology services and solutions for the nation's defense, security, space, and intelligence communities; we hold nearly 1,000 active contracts with more than 40 different government agencies Job Duties and Responsibilities • Active incident handling • Provides cyber security expertise to direct the creation, integration and implementation of NIST based governance, policy, and operating instructions • Will be the daily interface between RSAF Cyber Operations and Maintenance Sections, USG and supporting contractors • Coordinate working groups and discussions between DCIT sections to champion Governance and industry best practices • Develop information security policies, standards, procedures, checklists, and guidelines using generally-recognized security concepts tailored to meet the requirements of the organization. • Contribute to the development of a risk-based cyber security program which meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information security practices. • Support the advancement of RSAF's cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cyber security threats, events, and vulnerabilities. • Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures for those threats. • Apply technical knowledge to protect RSAF against cyber threats (e.g., knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention solutions, endpoint protections, log aggregation technology and other leading-edge security technologies). • Participate in cross-team coordination to achieve defined security goals as well as meet technical requirements in support of detailed implementation plans for security projects. • Support management in the development of strategies, policy and standards to protect company information and technology assets. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance/Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline • Capable of professional-level spoken and written communications in English with a minimum documented score of 80 on an English Comprehension Level test for non-native English speakers • Five (5) years of experience with information technology security programs, audits, assessments, risk, or remediation management • Working of data protection/security regulations, and frameworks, such as ISO and MST • Experience working with senior leadership to justify, plan, coordinate, and implement complex security systems which affect business or mission operations • Excellent communication, listening and facilitation skills • Excellent time management and related organizational skills, including appropriate sense of urgency, a proactive approach, and a suitable ability to anticipate and manage project lifecycle events, issues and obstacles • Able to identify and document specific security issues, propose resolution options, and interpret matters from the perspective of involved stakeholders • Hold at least one (l) active certification in good standing out of the following list: ISC2 CISSP — Certified Information System Security Professional, ISACA CISM -- Certified Information Systems Security Manager, SANS, GIAC, GSLC - GIAC Security Leadership Certification
