Job Description

USA, CALIFORNIA El Segundo Full-Time Security Clearance: Secret General Responsibilities: • Perform data management functions in support of Air Force Launch Enterprise Directorate projects. Implement and help document processes per AF expectations. • Participate as an Integrated Project Team (IPT) member where data products are contractually invoked. • Assist project managers with developing and planning for Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) on new contracts. • Use the DoD-approved data base to select and provide candidate Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) to project managers in support of CDRLs. • Prepare and review DD Forms 1423 (CDRL) to reflect tailoring instructions and ensure requirements are clear, attainable, manageable, and meets objectives provided by the project manager or functional focal points as required. • Maintain the CDRLs electronic library of all sanctioned and approved CDRLs. Establish and maintain a complete electronic library of all CDRL data submittals by contractors supporting all Launch Enterprise projects. Log data submittals as received. Create and maintain a log and index of all data transactions to enable rapid retrieval when needed. • Assist the project manager in implementing CDRL changes as required in the course of the contracts or delivery orders. • Assist in the review and edit of contract correspondence, and approvals. See Qualifications / Must have, at minimum, seven (7) years of experience performing data management and/or similar project support duties. Preferred: ·Associate or Bachelor Degree. Familiarity with Air Force/DoD acquisitions processes and regulation for the Acquisition and Management of Technical Data. Familiarity with LiveLink document management system. Experience or familiarity with DOD web based data base. Experience with Air Force Launch and Range systems is highly desired. This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making. Applicant will also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with others in a team setting, and proficiency with MS Office products to include Project, Power Point, Excel, and collaborative software products such as MS SharePoint.
