USA, COLORADO, COLORADO, Springs Full-Time Security Clearance: Secret ManTech is looking for a Change Management Specialist L-1 in the Colorado Springs, CO area to support their Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Program. The candidate will: Provide support and facilitation to all change control boards. Possess familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the CM field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works in a team environment to establish and execute a configuration management program for multiple systems/programs in various stages of design,development or operations. Control configuration of baselines through Configuration Control Boards. Monitor the incorporation of configuration change items. Contribute to the documentation and life cycle management of changes. Maintain configuration control databases and provides status accounting of engineering Conduct audits of CM activities throughout a project’s life cycle to verify compliance with established CM procedures and standards and to verify that CIs and system performance and functionality are compliant with specifications Produces reports on software releases related to delivered changes, results from functional testing, and various change management metrics. Plans and/or facilitates internal/external configuration audits. Training personnel on Configuration Management Procedures Acts as a liaison between the development and operations teams to communicate changes and expected issues in production environment. Developing CM team process and quality improvements Serves as a backup to HW CM Lead Works with management staff to produce CM strategies and plans for upcoming enhancements and / or roll-outs See Qualifications / Knowledge of configuration management practices, policies and procedures. Possess the ability to create/analyze configuration accountability records. Ability to verify that configuration documentation is compliant with applicable requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel. Ability to create SOPs and update process Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
