The candidate must be based in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Safety and Mission Assurance engineering and technical staff development strategy. The position is part of a ~250 person program and is one of three (3) program leaders… The Program Director, the Program Chief People Officer (CPO) and the Program Chief Safety Officer. The Chief People Officer is supported by a global team of 20+ HR & Talent Acquisition professionals. The CPO develop HR initiatives to support the business needs & strategic direction of ManTech in execution of the customers central engineering and spaceflight operations/analysis mission in areas such as talent management, change management, training & development, performance & engagement, and compliance. The candidate must have experience with national employment and localized business practices. Responsibilities: · Serve as the strategic business advisor to the executive management team, effectively connecting ManTech’s mission & vision to people practices. Partner with the PM and CSO to direct organizational planning efforts around structure, job design, headcount forecasting, etc. Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans. · Own ManTech’s employee valuation proposition, positioning ManTech as an employer of choice through people-centric best practices to promote employee engagement. · Ensure recruitment & retention plans meet the human capital needs of the program. · Possess and maintain knowledge of international HR policies, programs, laws, federal contracting issues and cultural norms. Use this knowledge and expertise to implement effective development programs. · Develop Total Compensation programs to provide motivation, incentives, and rewards to support our performance-based culture. · Define Learning & Development strategies that are aligned with organizational needs of ManTech and NASA. · Manage our “Remote Expert” program identifying and qualifying subject matter experts to consult on retainer using virtual reality technology. · Approximately 5% travel
12-15 years w/Bachelors Degree 09-12 years w/Masters Degree / Required Skills & Qualifications: · 15+ years of HR experience, with significant time spent working with high tech teams · Must include experience across high-growth start-ups and public companies. · Must have worked for a federal government contractor. US government experience a plus. · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or related experience, required. HR certification(s) desired.
