Job Description

USA, VIRGINIA, Herndon Full-Time Security Clearance: None • Accountable for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition fo fixed assets. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP • SEC supporting schedules • Prepare account reconciliations • Prepare and verify accuracy of journal entries. • Support of month end closing process for General Ledger department • Maintains chartfields of an accounting system, including associated accounts, records, reports, allocations, and controls in the financial system. • Examines assigned accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations and uniform application of policies, procedures and acceptable accounting. 06-08 years w/High School Diploma 00-02 years w/Bachelors Degree / Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and zero to two years of related experience.
