We are seeking a motivated McAfee ePO to work in Reston, VA and support multiple federal agencies through the CDM Program. The CDM Program is a high-profile, high-visibility, cybersecurity modernization and risk management program where you can contribute innovative solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Defines, plans, designs, and evaluates information security systems. • Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. • Experience with information networks design, operation, equipment. • Interest/aptitude for information security work. • Works under the direction of more experienced information security engineer. This position is responsible for administering McAfee ePO and other vulnerability management tasks across the enterprise in a Windows environment. These activities include, but are not limited to: • Daily maintenance, such as testing and installing virus definition files. • Maintenance of file / folder scan exclusions. • Incident and problem resolution. • Reporting and metrics. • Test and install operating system patches on anti-virus / anti-malware servers. • Download, test, and install application patches • Perform routine application upgrades (Complex upgrades will be designed and tested by the IT Engineering Division.). • Updating and/or installing the anti-virus / anti-malware clients. • Responses to audit requests or findings. • Governance activities for change management. • Knowledge transfer to new contractor or government personnel. Position requirements: • Successful candidates should possess a background in Windows administration and have demonstrable experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). • Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a McAfee admin, preferably in patch and software distribution. • A degree in a related field is preferred. Security Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must pass background investigation and be clearable to DHS EOD. See Qualifications / Requires Bachelor's degree in related discipline (engineering, computer science or related discipline) and zero to two years of related experience.
