Job Description:

We currently have an immediate position for a talented and passionate Junior DevOps Engineer to build a robust automated CI/CD deployment pipeline. You will lead the build deployment, software configuration, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release engineering process for the organization, responsible for collaborating with the team leads to coordinate on establishing the right software build and test processes. The successful candidate will be a self-starter that demonstrates excellent communication and problem solving skills with a focus on automation.

Required Skills:

  • US Citizenship
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of DevOps and Operations experience within a Cloud or Bare Metal environment
  • Well versed in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • Strong understanding and experience with code deployment
  • Strong understanding of Container based architecture and deployments
  • Strong understanding and use of Linux
  • Demonstrated experience in developing scripts to automate deployments
  • CI/CD experience to do automatic release of software using Jenkins pipelines
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
  • Familiarity with GIT, BitBucket and/or similar distributed version control systems
  • Hands on experience using build tools such as Maven, Gradle or similar tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Design, develop, implement, and optimize complete end-to-end DevOps solutions that enable the optimization of the organization at the enterprise level
  • Implement, maintain, and support the monitoring infrastructure to facilitate continuous monitoring of all environments
  • Work with automated monitoring solutions to ensure maximum system uptime and performance
  • Collaborate with IT Lead, Engineering and QA to implement innovative solutions
  • Integrate new and best practice Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment software tools that will support, enhance and grow our CI and CD capabilities
  • Monitor production system health and security
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Perform demonstrations and briefings to customers to ensure program success
  • Perform system monitoring, optimization, and high performance tuning
  • Perform requirements analysis, system design, and draft technical documentation
  • Participate in research and development for system engineering and product advancement
  • Provide off-hours support in rare circumstances
