Job Description

Cryptologic Liaison Officer's responsibilities include:

Developing, nurturing, and/or negotiating relationships with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and foreign partners.

Operating in a collaborative and responsive environment, maximizing dynamic partner capabilities.

Assessing stakeholder needs and identifying capabilities to address those needs.

Providing timely and effective support and information sharing within appropriate legal authorities.

Identifying the internal and external politics that impact the work of the organization and responding accordingly.

Qualifications

Salary Range:  $68,036 - $106,012 (Full Performance)

Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.

Degree in any area is acceptable.

Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC is preferred.

 

Salary Range:  $96,970 - $148,967 (Senior)

Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.

Degree in any area is acceptable.

Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC and managing people or projects is preferred.

 

Salary Range:  $134,789 - $164,200 (Expert)

A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.

Degree in any area is acceptable.

Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC and managing people or projects is preferred.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
