Job Description

Raytheon Professional Services (RPS) is looking for an Automotive Instructor to facilitate Instructor Led Training courses to advanced Service Technicians and support a satellite training center based in the Denver, CO area. This individual must be highly motivated, willing to accept new challenges, and be able to complete tasks with minimal direction, including independent study, to stay current with technology. The ideal candidate will have previous dealership and Instructor/Facilitator experience.

Required Skills:

·Minimum of two years automotive technician experience

·Current ASE Certified Master Technician

·Strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems

·Advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills

·Demonstrated ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including: Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.

·Ability to work well with both customers and co-workers in a team environment

·Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email

·Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work environments

·Must have excellent time management and organizational skills

Desired Skills:

·Two years automotive instructor experience

·Previous automotive dealership experience

Required Education:

·Minimum Associates degree in Automotive Technology or successful completion of a formal Automotive Technology Program. Four years automotive technician experience with a High School diploma will be considered in lieu of a degree.

This position is located in the Denver, CO area. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
