Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

Job Description:

Software developer to join a small, energetic, versatile team supporting a high-visibility Enterprise Data Center (NODC) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The NGA OCONUS Data Center (NODC) is a regional, strategic data center postured to integrate and deploy new requirements as they emerge. Knowledge of communications, imagery delivery systems, GEOINT cataloging, discovery, and retrieval methods as well as Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) systems is desirable. Hands-on experience with geospatial visualization technologies including OpenLayers, Google Earth client and ArcMap is desired, as candidate will be working side-by-side with geospatial analysts providing software solutions. Some experience in geospatial server technologies including ArcGIS Server is also desired. Candidate will be working with intelligence analysts to propose, design, develop, and implement software solutions to improve their daily workflows.

Required Skills:

•Experience developing web applications and web services using any of the following: Java, Python, Ruby, SQL, C++, JavaScript and/or CSS.
•Experience/knowledge in developing using the Agile methodology.
•Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing, migrating, and managing web applications in the cloud and/or working with AWS.
•Experience writing cross-platform solutions that can be executed in Windows or Linux environments.
Current TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
Ability to work in the Washington, DC, St. Louis, MO or Tampa, MacDill AFB, FL areas.

Desired Skills:

•Knowledge of communications, imagery delivery systems, GEOINT cataloging, discovery, and retrieval methods as well as Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
•Experience exhibiting customer service and communication skills (both oral and written), including the ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Education (including Major):

BS degree or 10 Years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
