Job Description

Raytheon Global BusinessServices(GBS)has anopening inFacilities for a facilitiesspaceplanner.The facilities space planner manages, coordinates, and allocates office space for all locations.

JobDescription:

  • Develop and recommend long-range plans to meet future office space needs
  • Ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space, furnishings, and architectural finishes
  • Workwithcross-functionalteams todevelopefficient layoutsforoffice, lab,andmanufacturingareas to maximize spaceutilization
  • Maintain regional space data and develop and report performancemetricson ascheduled basis
  • Collaborate with owners of rented office space in matters relating to planning and execution of alterations/leasehold improvements, occupancy, and adherence to lease allowance and terms
  • Developestimates,managebudgets,coordinatemovesandrearranges,andperformotherfacilities-relatedtasks as needed

RequiredSkills:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience infacilities layout and space planning
  • Understand floorplans,schematics,andshopdrawings
  • Proficiencyin MicrosoftOffice,MicrosoftProject,andAutoCAD
  • Effective presentationandcommunicationskills
  • WearappropriatePPE and safelynavigateoffice, lab,andmanufacturingareas,includingcleanroomsandareasunderconstruction.Thismayincludemovingthroughactiveconstructionareas,climbing stairs,andwearingappropriatecleanroomouterwear (full smock) as needed.
  • Strongcommitment tosafety,ethics, and quality

DesiredSkills:
  • Plan,forecast,and managebudgets andschedules
  • Knowledgeof city,state,andfederalcodesconcerningfacilitiesand spacemanagement,including localbuildingcodes,ADA(AmericanswithDisabilitiesAct),andOSHAregulations
  • Experience with FAMISCAD space planning software
RequiredEducation:
Bachelor'sdegree in Industrial Engineering, InteriorDesign,Architecture, Engineering,FacilitiesManagementor arelateddiscipline
