Tactical Radios is an area within the Tactical Communication Systems product line and the Integrated Communications Systems Mission Area. The products range from legacy to next generation and are installed on a variety of platforms. Tactical Radios is looking for a strong finance professional to lead this critical business. As the Finance lead for Tactical Radios, the successful candidate will be responsible for all financial management of the business area. He or she will be a strategic business partner to the Tactical Radios Business Lead, helping drive economic growth. More specifically, he or she will be responsible for financial reporting and management to include providing and being accountable for inputs to AOP and Five-Year Plan, bookings, sales, profits, operating cash, and working capital forecasts. He or she will be responsible for leading an organization of approximately 6 finance professionals in successful execution of EVM, EACs, program/business reviews, and other program control duties. In addition, he or she will be responsible for ensuring the Tactical Radios finance organization has world-class people, with a commitment to developing future talent.

Required Skills:
  • At least 8 years of experience working in a Program Controls, FP&A, Pricing and/or a related function
  • Demonstrated self-starter with good organizational skills who can work both independently and in an integrated multi-disciplined environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and provide insights that drive business decisions and results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in written form
  • Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards
  • Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and ongoing multiple projects
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize finance systems and tools
  • Knowledge of finance policies and procedures

Desired Skills:
  • Strong Earned Value Management skills (EVMS, APEX EV, PRISM)
  • Experience in multiple aspects of Financial Management
  • Ability to influence others

Required Education:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
