Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) is the provider of AESA Systems which provide the war fighter with the most accurate and timely information available for the network-centric battlefield. The Systems Engineering Integration and Test Center (SEIT) engineering organization is seeking engineering leaders committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective solutions for the warfighter.

Seeking Sr. Systems Engineer as a member of the RF Systems Department to be a key contributor within the Advanced Capabilities and Technologies product area. Responsibilities include:
· Deploying machine learning principles and techniques in support of algorithm development, data analysis, modeling and simulation, and capabilities verification with an emphasis on tactical Fire Control (FC) and Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) radars and sensors
· Analyzing system requirements, decomposing requirements to software subsystems, and defining testing criteria of the requirements at the software and system level
· Working with the Mode Development team to develop predictive models of mode performance in flight test
· Analyzing flight test data and validating predicted results

Ability to run RF simulation testing and conduct mode performance analysis in the lab. Must be comfortable working with software, hardware and in a simulation environment.

Required Skills:
The Sr. Systems Engineer will be assigned to the Integration and Test team for a major AESA development program. The ideal candidate will be an engineer, mathematician or physicist with experience in machine learning, neural networks, data analysis and modeling and simulation techniques.

· Must have experience (academic or professional) in a machine learning and algorithm development
· Experience developing software in multiple interpreted and compiled languages (EX: MATLAB, Python, C++, Java)
· Experience with developing analysis tools and performing analysis
· 4 + years of Engineering experience with a BS degree in Engineering, Math, Science or related technical discipline
-Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to starting

Desired Skills:
· Active Secret Clearance plus ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearances
· Signal Processing knowledge and application of Signal Processing theories
· Experience in a radar software development environment
· Systems Engineering process expertise in radar systems
· Executing task based work assignments with standard software development tools & tracking tools
· Effective interface with senior-level leaders, external customers, end users & analysts
· Able to effectively juggle multiple tasks and priorities

Required Education:
· BS Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Physics

Desired Education:
· MS or Ph.D in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Physics with emphasis in Machine Learning,
