Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager in Huntsville, AL.The successful candidate will support the current and evolving Strategic Systems Engineering Services (SSES) efforts for the Software Engineering Directorate (SED) Customer. The SED, within the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (USA RDECOM), has development and support responsibilities for myriad weapons systems and related support systems with associated enhancements.
The Strategic Systems domain includes support activities for Combatant Commanders and Agencies (such as AMC, MDA, Homeland Security, Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), TRANSCOM, INSCOM) and related FMS efforts.Specifically, the Program Manager would lead a variety of Technical Directives within one of five domains (Aviation, C3 & Interoperability, Mission Test Support, Missile Defense Systems, or Support Systems).
·10+ years of related experience
·Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including Government customer, internal leadership, and support organizations
·Responsible for all aspects the annual operating plans (AOPs), budgets, interface with subcontractor personal staff performance.
·Ability/Experience with technology and/or program development programs
·Proven ability working with EVMS or similar PM tool
·Raytheon Program Management Level 5 Certification or similar, or ability to obtain certification within 1 year
·Excellent written and presentation skills, including negotiation skills
·Experience working on proposal preparation
·Proven ability to quickly come up to speed on technical and management efforts currently underway
·Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
·Must be willing and able to do some travel as required
·Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain higher levels
·Experience leading fixed price contracts
·Experience with military platforms, architectures, capabilities, customers, and/or missions
·Ability to work with multiple suppliers of varies sizes and complexity levels
