Job Description:

Engineer will support the Radar Development Contract in Colorado Springs at Schriever AFB with team members divided between Woburn, MA and Colorado Springs, CO. Also, support the Missile Defense Agency / Sensors Warfighter Support (MDA/SNW) organization responsibilities will include;

Interface with the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) system in support of wargames and exercises at home station and at domestic and international locations.
Support exercises by participating in planning conferences, technical interchange meetings, system testing, and performing as the radar subject matter expert (SME) during execution.
Prepare and present analysis reports concerning AN/TPY­2 test launch performance to the COCOMs representative and other MDA elements.
Travel up to 20% to support program requirements.

This position is a Salary Grade GS08 or GS09 depending on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, travel and responsibility requirements for the position.

Required Skills:

  • ­Minimum of 4 years of radar experience with a strong background in BMDS radars.
  • ­Experience with various tools: Linux/Unix, Systems Tool Kit, Matlab and MS Office
  • ­Knowledge of Military Wargames and Exercises
  • ­Active Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
  • ­Missile defense experience and knowledge of MDA elements and fielding configurations
  • ­Experience with Radar Analysis
  • ­Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • ­Ability to work in a team environment
  • ­Top Secret clearance
Required Education (including Major):

  • ­Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or physics.
