Job Description

Location: Lompoc California Security Clearance: None / Not Required Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is admired in the industry for discriminating focal plane arrays based sensor solutions. The Engineering Manager position is the leader responsible for both Process and Product Engineering at the Lompoc Facility. Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for managing SiPIN and/or 3D integration and MEMS development program support and processes at our Lompoc facility on 8” Silicon wafers. Position requires direct supervision of approximately 20 engineers across multiple disciplines. Candidate must be able to lead, coach, engage and empower employees to deliver on process development goals and program commitments. Candidate must be able to clearly articulate project and/or program status as well as any risks or issues associated with these efforts.

Required Skills:
  • Successful track record of delivering on projects, both individually and as a leader
  • Experience with Semiconductor wafer processing in a cleanroom environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication techniques
  • Experience with Team Leadership, Integrated Program/Project Planning
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Technical writing ability
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date

  • Performance metrics specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing)

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
