Job Description

Location: Largo Florida Security Clearance: None / Not Required The MRP Controller professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of problems. This person daily manages factory demand / Supply in support of achieving MRP schedules that support customer requirements.

This person also is responsible for analyzing material availability in support of contract requirements, communicate factory priorities, identifying barriers and solutions to enable the factory to meet takt rate, and takes appropriate action to ensure program goals are achieved. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate program goals. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate within an IPT environment. This individual will also be expected to promote Raytheon’s keys values, facilitate problem resolution and apply Raytheon Six Sigma.

Required Skills:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be well organized and a problem solver
  • Must be able to attain Security Clearance if needed
  • Working knowledge of MRP / AMMS, VM, SAP, BW, Rapid Response
  • An understanding of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
  • US Citizenship status is required

Desired Skills:
  • 2+ years of SAP / PRISM experience
  • Material planning and order execution experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of government contracting requirements
  • Program / Project Management experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree desired (Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field)

Desired Education: MBA (Master in Business Administration)

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
