Location:   Security Clearance: Secret - Current
The Senior Engineering Logistics assignment will be the Repair Lead for Qatar Depot Operations, acting as the interface with both internal and external customers and managing the repair operation tasks. The candidate for this role will also be the Point of Contact (POC) for interfacing with internal and external customers, responsible for identifying lessons learned and best practices from other businesses and applying them to Qatar Depot Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking all program repairs through the Qatar Depot and collecting metrics on repairs
  • Manage and track the repairs costs and work with the customer and program office on required budgets and funding requests
  • Develop a depot repair materials list and manage the procurement, funding & delivery of material
  • Provide data to Control Account Managers (CAM) for program cost control and participate in EACs
  • Provide weekly status reports to leadership and manage delivery of any Program CDRL requirements to the Customer
  • Present and participate in Program Reviews, Customer meetings, and team status meetings on repairs
  • Collect, Monitor, and Report Monthly Repair Cycle Time Metrics: Received assets, in process work, back log & turnaround time on Line Replaceable Units (LRU)
  • Register Government / Customer Furnished property through WAWF registration (i.e., “iRapt” Registering non-serialized assets , “IUID” Registering serialized assets)
  • Generate Quotations and Delivery Travelers in PRISM
  • Manage Raytheon Manufactured Repairs with Cross Business Teams

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of (4+) years of quality engineering experience in a hardware/systems development environment and can provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, understanding of the procurement, repair, and/or maintenance processes.
  • Ability to articulate software and tool requirements
  • Ability to drive effective Root Cause analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action
  • Experience presenting to leadership
Desired Skills:

  • Active US DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance within the first year
  • Strong communications skills and experience presenting to leadership
  • A strong desire to learn new processes and lead change within the organization
  • Raytheon R6Sigma Certification; otherwise must become R6Sigma certified within one (1) year
  • Experience with import / export regulatory compliance and controls
  • Strong background in Depot programs such as Repair & Return or Performance Based Logistics
  • Expertise in one or many of the following tools: PRISM, iMRO, SAP, Business Warehouse
  • Experience reporting to internal and/or external Customers on project status and technical requirements
  • Operations or Production Control experience
  • Raytheon Earned Value (EV) certification
  • Experience developing, analyzing, and reporting metrics related to spares availability, hardware failure analysis, maintenance, procurements, and/or repairs
  • Experience with multiple Raytheon businesses and adopting best practices from other programs
Required Education:

BS/BA in engineering or a business related major and a minimum of 6 years of relevant field experience.My be considered in lieu of a BS/BA. (Two years related work experience can substitute for one year of College)
