This position will work with the Program Management Office and Engineering personnel on the existing Battlefield Radar and Command and Control Programs in their day to day management and execution of the programs.
Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
·Support Program Managers with day to day operations of their programs (e.g. reporting, presentations, financial analysis, customer interface, meetings, contracts, deliverables)
·Work closely with engineering teams (Liaison)
·Representing the program management team, acting in a professional manner in dealings with others and striving to maintain constructive working relationships
·Actively participating in program meetings
·Provide regular status of accomplishments
·Gain knowledge on the Battlefield Radar and Command and Control Systems
·Pursuing a Bachelor’s in a technical background from an accredited institution in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Assurance/Security, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or Physics
·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
·Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and organization capabilities.
·Flexibility of work schedule.
·This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.
·Experience with engineering processes
·Previous internship experience
·3.25 GPA or higher
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in the area of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Assurance/Security, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or Physics.A GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale is desired. This position is for a Junior Internship based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
·Junior status – must have completed 90 hours of college credits (or equivalent if in a quarter system) towards degree and obtained Junior status as of Summer 2018.
