Job Description: The MALD Growth Program Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the domestic and international growth strategy for the MALD program, while leading the execution of advanced program activities. Furthermore, this role is responsible for coordinating and leading program proposal efforts. This will entail oversight of the program’s strategy and growth, technical roadmaps, new business investment (NBI) funding, and capture initiatives. In addition, this role has responsibility for cost, schedule, and staffing for all IRAD and NBI spiral efforts, as well as customer-funded projects. This position is part of the MALD Program Management Office (PMO) and reports directly to the MALD Program Director located in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will lead collaborative efforts aimed at increasing MALD program bookings, sales, and profit. Key Responsibilities:The Growth PM includes coordination across the MALD program and AWS product line, in addition to building relationships and maintaining key stakeholders, international partners/consultants, and strategic suppliers. The individual must have a working understanding of the issues driving customer needs around the world.Major responsibilities include:•Developing MALD strategic plans to advance business mission by promoting revenue generation, profitability and growth to meet global growth objectives for the program•Develop product roadmaps and manage new business investment strategy and funds•Leading and managing all NBI efforts for MALD with accountability for cost, schedule and staffing requirements•Leading and managing related proposal development efforts for MALD•Articulating relevant status and program needs to senior level management in MALD, AWS, and cross functional organizations•Collaborating with other programs, product lines and business units to ensure resources are aligned with opportunities that support Raytheon’s strategic objectives•Working with RMS Supply Chain Management and key suppliers on development efforts•Interfacing with RMS Engineering and other cross functional organizations to coordinate staffing needs•Identifying and developing industrial partnerships that enable growth and mature technology insertions for MALD•Coordinating with USBD Government Relations Office to develop and implement congressional strategy•Developing and maintaining effective and positive working relationships with internal and external customers•Responsible for working across the enterprise and within the program to meet growth targets and new business opportunitiesProfessional Experience/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be proactive and innovative with a strong history of performance and collaboration. Ideally, this successful leader will be technologically conversant with the ability to quickly command respect and credibility from both the business development and customer sides of the business. Further, the successful candidate will have strong business acumen through education and experience in developing and promoting business cases for company investments and partnering.Requirements:•10+ years DoD experience in Program Management, and/or appropriate functional experience in directly supporting program objectives managing cost, schedule and technical performance•Familiarity with the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy•Existing Secret Clearance required•Experience managing Engineering Development, qualification, and integration processes•Experience leading diverse teams across broad areas of expertise•Profit/Loss accountabilityDesired Skills:•Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and Gate 4 packages for Management Review and approval•Extensive understanding of threats and operational environments of U.S. DoD services, primarily the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, as well as key allied nations•Strong proficiency in developing, executing, and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing approved plans•Raytheon Program Level 4 certification or equivalent•Earned Value Management Systems certification•Working knowledge of EX/IM and Security requirements•Multi-functional stretch assignment(s) with broad perspectives of cross-functional responsibilities•Demonstrated leadership capabilities of organizing and leading technical teams, establishing priorities, motivating team members to accomplish common goals, holding staff accountable and providing timely and meaningful feedback•Strong proficiency in partnering in matrixed organizations such as finance, contracts, engineering•Demonstrated strong Leadership and Communication skillsRequired Education:Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.; preferably a bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM); Advanced degree preferred.This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
