Job Description

Location: Aurora Colorado Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly - Current Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) is seeking a highly motivated and adaptive MidLevel Cyber Security Engineer with a strong Linux and Windows system administration background; to conduct configuration management, assimilation, and ingestion of IT security audit information. This position will be filled in Aurora, Colorado.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Generation and maintenance of documentation on systems supplying audit information
  • QA/QC of ingested audit information, and providing direct customer support on the proper use of the tools and systems receiving audit information
  • Analyze enterprise level audit data and provide compliance recommendations for a variety of computer operating systems and applications
  • Assist with the generation and maintenance of knowledge articles, SOPs, and Work Instructions
  • Perform additional system administration and troubleshooting duties as necessary
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary and directed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of applicable experience in similar roles – OR – a minimum of 12 years equivalent experience in-lieu of a degree
  • Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DoD 8570) IAT Level qualifying certification or higher (e.g. Current Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.)
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Working knowledge of the RSA NetWitness or similar SIEM tool suite
  • Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Effective time management resource allocation skills in order to meet assigned deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • 5 or more years of experience performing computer systems administration and troubleshooting with the MS Windows and Linux based OS platforms and applications
  • Experience providing Tier 3 support to enterprise customers for across multiple platforms
  • Familiarity with ACAS or similar technologies for compliance auditing and reporting
  • Familiarity with IP based network, network support, and cloud technology concepts
  • Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Availability to work occasional overtime as required
