Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Circuit Card Assembly Operations (CCA) has an opening for a 3rd shift Team Leader in the CCA Conformal Coating Value Stream to manage approximately 15 represented employees in a fast-paced, process-focused manufacturing environment supporting IDS, RMS (Raytheon Missile Systems), and SAS (Space and Airborne Systems) Program Customers. You will also ensure that assembled hardware and products meet contractual, quality, cost and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.
This role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include: technical support, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, and finance. Maintaining cost, quality, delivery, safety, housekeeping, and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities are critical performance criteria for this position.
In addition to the above, responsibilities include the enforcement of company policies and procedures, time and attendance tracking, area layout and flow management, capital identification and support of overhead expenses.
This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skill, experience and responsibility requirement for the position.
Minimum of 4 years of related leadership experience in managing/supervising others to achieve performance goals
Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improve methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma)
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in manufacturing and financial management
Experience utilizing Shop Floor Control Systems/shop operations, and/or Database system (i.e. ERP system)
Previous experience working with bargaining unit employees
Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry
BA/BS degree in a related field of study (such as business or engineering) or equivalent education andrelated production/manufacturing experience
