Job Description

Location: Dallas Texas Security Clearance: None / Not Required This position is responsible for performing Master Scheduling tasks in the support of an Integrated Product Team. This position is located in Dallas, Texas, and is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle in the Advance Product Center (APC). The selected candidate will be a key driver of on time delivery and will responsible for developing and sustaining MRP and master schedule related metrics.

Major responsibilities include:
  • SAP/PRISM functional support
  • Maintenance of PRISM MBOMs, Master Schedules (MSIS), and Planned Independent Requirements
  • Assessing material supply resources and stock availability
  • Analyzing and prioritizing demand requirements
  • Inventory planning
  • Developing, reporting, and providing status to MRP, SAP, and related Master Schedule Metrics
  • Providing support for all products and activities which impact hardware built and sustained in Visiprise Manufacturing, iMRO, and SAP shop floor execution systems

Other tasks may include participating in resource planning and end of life management & product line management. In addition, this individual will execute and support MBOM, Master Schedules, and other MMAS related auditing activities.

This role will work closely with the Integrated Product Teams to level load all demand requirements, execute Rapid Response simulations, and develop IT solutions to streamline demand planning. In this role the creation & use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

This job requires clear and effective communication skills that will be utilized to provide daily briefings and reporting pertaining to operations. This position requires a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. The ability to interface with all levels of management in an IPT environment is essential to perform in this job. This individual will also be expected to promote Raytheon’s keys values, facilitate problem resolution and apply Raytheon Six Sigma.

Required Skills:
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Demonstrated expert level execution in PRISM, VM, iMRO, APEX, SAP & Rapid Response
  • Experience in Operations/Inventory Control/Supply Chain/Material Management processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
  • Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • The ability to interface with multiple levels of management in an IPT environment with effective communication skills
  • The ability to interact with internal and external customers with respect to product/material planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment using Raytheon’s key values
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to Obtain U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date

Desired Skills:
  • Proficiency with handling large data sets
  • Experience with databases and scripting, including VBS, Microsoft Access, SQL, and SAP scripting
  • Ability to apply critical thinking techniques, using logic and reasoning to identify approaches to problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Ability to understand complex systems and processes
  • Ability to apply Lean and 6 Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processes

Required Education: BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management

Desired Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
