Location: SPRINGFIELD VA US 22151 Description:

The Defense & Intelligence Group has a current opening for a SharePoint Site Technologist located at our Customer site in Springfield, VA.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Update and maintain Customer's classified and unclassified websites with relevant, accurate and timely information. Translate ideas and concepts into professional, web-based and eventually SharePoint products. Ensure the design and layout of reports, documents and publications are easily transferred to and retrievable from the website/SharePoint Portal. Share institutional knowledge and experience to facilitate an effective and efficient service. Ensure website is professionally formatted and maintained in accordance with Customer's standards. Utilize strong graphic design skills to improve design aspects of the website utilizing best practices and design principles that generate aesthetic graphics, easy use and innovative styles. Recommend and implement improvements to written submissions, format, navigation, design, etc. to produce a user-friendly, well organized and modernized website appearance.

Develop automated web based tools as required. Manage information content - identify, coordinate and delete outdated or obsolete information; include value-added news and/or features; maintain consistency across web pages.

Coordinate with other offices to obtain and post supplemental information, links, etc. Maintain website records. Develop a web maintenance plan for maintaining the website with current and accurate information at all times.

Support unique initiatives for SharePoint design, content organization, and special projects that require technical fluency to generate libraries, lists, databases, programs, and designs within Customer system capabilities. Manage project tasks by prioritizing workload, multitasking, and effectively interacting with a wide range of people (orally and in writing). Ability to convert existing intranet and internet applications into a Microsoft SharePoint environment, while maintaining the equivalent functionality for both the user level and management for reports and metrics development. Education: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010 & 2013 to include, InfoPath Forms & SharePoint Designer processes, site actions, site permissions, page site layouts and design, web part creation and page insertion. Strong knowledge of Cold Fusion and Familiar with SharePoint administration and SharePoint Design to include approval and standard workflows. Knowledge of InfoPath web forms, creation, validation, formatting and form actions. Familiarity with jQuery or JavaScript client-side processing. Ability to prioritize, multitask and communicate effectively verbally and in writing with peers, customers, and supervisors.

Desired Skills: Processes a strong understanding of SharePoint migration
2010 to 2013. Firm knowledge of XML and XSLT language programming.
Knowledge of Cold Fusion programming. Knowledge of SQL databases.
Knowledge of Mobile Web programming technologies.
