Location: WARNER ROBINS GA US 31093 Description:

Leidos currently has an opening for a System Administrator to work in Warner Robins Air Force base. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the [Contract/Program Name] mission. In this mission the successful candidate maintains and supports the integrity of system environment and various computer systems for a Department of Defense international program. Administers, installs and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems. Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance. Schedules, installs, and tests system software upgrades. Configures software and resolves technical problems. Provides basic user functionality training of various installed applications. Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:

System administrator responsible for administration of a 50+ client – server Closed User Group (CUG) network with a set of core services to include Microsoft Sharepoint, Active Directory, Lync Server, and Microsoft Exchange (E-mail). Additionally, will work with a team that administers and maintains a CISCO based Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and Video Teleconference Wide Area Network (WAN) in 12 different locations. Microsoft Server stack runs on a Red Hat Linux hypervisor trusted platform utilizing VMware and VSphere Client as the primary administrator interface. Specific responsibilities include responding to and troubleshooting specific user requests, maintenance of trusted certificate stores, patching through a Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), account management, maintain baseline client image, and assist with baseline enclave installations at multiple locations. Individual will be an embedded asset within the government customer Program Office. Ten percent annual travel anticipated.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

List the “must have” MINIMUM requirements to be considered for the position and ensure minimum quals fall within the minimum Leidos job code requirements. Example: Bachelors’ Degree with 6 years’ of applicable experience or 4 additional years’ of experience in lieu of degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Must have 2+ years JAVA experience.

Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years server administration experience or 12+ years of server administration in lieu of degree. Must have a Secret level clearance. Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and translate technical solutionsproblems to non-technical personnel.

Desired Professional certifications: Security+ (CompTIA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) [Microsoft], VMware Certified Professional X (Data Center Virtualization) [VMware], Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, Sharepoint, Lync) [Microsoft], Network+ (CompTIA)

CISCO Certified Entry Technician (CCENT) [CISCO], CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) [CISCO].
