Location: ARLINGTON VA US 22202 Description:

Leidos Veteran Health is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst in support of the Department of Veteran Affairs Electronic Health Records (EHR) contract. The Scheduling Analyst will develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts.

The Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst will collaborate with Technical Engineering, Program Execution and Senior Leadership to lead development of planning artifacts. This position requires a working knowledge of advanced scheduling theory and best practices to ultimately generate useful IMS data and better inform management to aid decision making and risk analysis prior to submission of proposed offerings.

Experience interpreting Performance Work Statements (PWS) for key milestones, delivery artifacts and other relevant information.

Desired Tool Capabilities

Schedule management tools: Microsoft Project


- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) or equivalent experience and 5+ years of specialized project management support experience of an increasingly responsible nature

- Minimum 6+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/e-mail) required

- Current/Active VA background investigation/VA Access will be a plus

- Detail-oriented aptitude with a strong ability to multi-task

- Demonstrated ability to successfully work and communicate with and adapt to personnel at all levels

- Ability to excel in high visibility situations and work effectively under the pressure of rigid deadlines

- Ability to support multiple concurrent projects and operate effectively in a matrixed environment

- Demonstrated problem solving, business judgment, and innovation skills

- Must be able work independently without direct supervision and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 5-7 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
