As a CNO Developer you will join a program that offers challenging Cyber projects which contribute to national priority missions. The program executes tasks which focus smaller teams on specific challenges, while providing a large team for project support and surge requirements. Selected applicants will find challenging work that grows their careers and opportunities to broaden their skills into emerging technologies.
The CNO Developer will work as part of an integrated team supporting a broad range of embedded development projects. Project activities span the entire engineering and software lifecycle from initial characterization and research to support for matured and delivered projects. Selected applicants will apply their programming knowledge and deep analytical skills on new and challenging technologies.
Design custom software tools and techniques on Windows or Linux platforms
End-to-end design and development of custom software
Diagnose and debug issues using both COTS and GOTS tools
Develop documentation pertinent to operating and supporting developed software and techniques. Qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelor of Science Degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
One (1) year of experience programming in C, C++, Assembly, and Python
One (1) year of experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments, UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments, Mission-applicable platforms. Note: One (1) year development experience may be credited for appropriate coursework in Windows or Unix programming, completed as part of an awarded Bachelors or Master degree
